A Tapestry of Light
by Kimberly Duffy
I fell into the world of this story very easily and found the feisty nature of the main character enticing and very relatable.
One particular strength in this novel was the importance of friendship and family, and the lengths one is prepared to go to to keep family safe. Strong friendships between women were also an important feature.
I didn't know this was Christian Fiction when I signed up for it, so there was a little of the story that fell flat for my interest and I didn't find the aspect of faith and belief as emotional as some may have but this is just a personal preference.
I would be really interested to have an Indian friend of mine read this to see what they think of the parts of the novel that set the scenes in Calcutta.
A really enjoyable novel to get lost in!
