The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
4.0

Mini Review: This is one of the books I read for a travelling book club between my remote co workers.

I definitely can see why this book has caught fire among the book community.
Freida writes short chapters that makes the reading go super quick.

I thought some of it was a little predictable and was not shocked by the ending.
There were certain moments I thought was shocking but not the overall end.
The end does set up nicely for the sequel so I'll be anxious to see how she keeps the story fresh the 2nd time around.

The discussion with my co workers was really good and all think that there should be a prequel about Andrew's upbringing and focus on the parents - because YIKES!

If you are looking for housewives behaving badly, unreliable narrators, quick read - check this out!
