This book was written by Kerri Rawson, the daughter of Dennis Rader. Kerri details the day she found out that her father was arrested for murder...not just murder, but for being the headline grabbing serial killer known as BTK. She gives us a glimpse into her life with her father and the sometimes odd things that he did. She is very open about the day her life turned upside down with the arrest of her father and all of the details about his activities that she learned afterwards. I cannot imagine what that must have been like for her, or any of the other children and family members of someone who has done something similar. People are always interested in the lives of these high profile killers, but I think that people do not really stop to think about the suffering of the family members of these killers as much as they do the victims. It must be terribly hard to handle the fact that your parent was this monstrous person.
