It's Not Like It's a Secret
by Misa Sugiura
This is an amazing story with amazing representation. I cry just thinking about how much it means to not only the lgbtq+ community for proper lesbian representation, but also the amazing representation of our ethnic divides. I know the author wrote this as it was a subject close to home, and I'm so happy with what this book has to offer. The plot has a lovely pace to it and definitely has some moments keeping you on the edge of your seat. Reading this I think I went through every emotion possibly: happiness, anger, grief, sadness - it was amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone, but especially to those who might feel out of place in one way or another. This book is a gentle reminder to look past our differences and biases to what really matters.
