Summary:
Nadzia is a writer who poured her heart and soul into her fantasy book only to have her best friend read it and hate it. After she gets home, she falls asleep, waking up in the middle of a field. She quickly finds she has somehow been transported into the world of her book. She gets to see the places and characters she created come to life. Every author's dream right?

But her knowledge of this world lands her in trouble. She knows top secret information that very few people are privy to. She finds herself imprisoned by the very characters she wrote. Follow Nadzia as she experiences love and war firsthand.

Review:

This book was a quick read. It had a cast of diverse characters and tons of representation which I loved. I also really enjoyed the concept of this book. The idea of finding yourself trapped in a story you created really grabbed me and hooked me.

I do wish the author relied more on showing the reader emotions and scenery rather than telling us most things. That would've expanded the world a bit more and hooked me further. I believe it would've added to the chemistry of the love interests as well.

I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to go on a fun adventure to a new fantasy world. I just love books inside of books.
