The first half was kind of slow (lots of world-building), but the second half redeemed it!
Love the morally grey main characters, the beautiful setting, and the magical world that the author has created. It just took some time for things to get moving. I was very excited by the end, though, and the bit of a cliffhanger that the story ended on has me excited for the sequel.

I am definitely going to keep reading this series, and hopefully it won't take me 28 days to read the next one
