One Moment Please
by Amy Daws
Yet another I accidentally deleted. I know I won't remember them all. :-(
Amy Daws has outdone herself with this book! I loved the first two books in this series, Wait With Me, and Next In Line, but this one had all the emotions and definitely all the passion! Not only that, but Dr. Dick, totally lived up to his name. It was really hard to like him at first. It really helped once we got a chapter from his point of view, but even then, not knowing exactly what made him the way he was kept me hanging on every word to learn just what could make him feel the way he did. I feel like the author totally needs swag now like what was featured in this book and led to the whole story conflict.
There was just a lot of fun in the story as well as the emotion and passion. I loved how Josh (Dr. Dick) just really liked Lynsey the way she was. How just her being around made him smile. And then her clumsiness was so funny. Some of the things she did I can totally see myself doing, or probably have done in the past. This book was well worth the wait, and as always from this author, a total hit! I have to say one perk of this whole self-isolation/quarantine time we are dealing with right now is the time to read a whole book in one day, so it’s kind of like watching a movie!
