Definitely a solid 4 stars. I was looking through some of the other reviews, and they said that it was pretty slow for them at first and hard to get into. Honestly this book held my attention the entire time! Meyer did an amazing job replicating the world of Wonderland. The writing style itself was so different than anything I've read because of all the craziness and madness the world is imbued with. Personally, I wish the relationship between Cath and Jest was developed even more, but it was interesting to see the author's take on what made the Queen of Hearts. I knew that she would eventually become the "villain" but I still rooted for Cath the entire time. The end was heartbreaking, but I also wish we got more time seeing her descent into becoming this famed person. Altogether, my favorite part about this book is that the author totally made me feel like this was Wonderland from Lewis Carroll's initial works.
