One of my favorite plays, I really think The Crucible is an interesting and enjoyable read and watch. The extended metaphor for McCarthyism is very obvious, almost laughably so. Despite that, I've read this several times, and enjoyed it more each time. Also, nothing is funnier to me than "I saw Goody Proctor dancing with The Devil!"
