My favorite of the series so far. Sometimes when you're this many books into a series things start to feel stale (especially spicy scenes) but this absolutely did not fall into that.

This hit so many of my favorite tropes. Grumpy/Sunshine, bodyguard, city girl/cowboy.

Riona wasn't given much character in the previous books but Sofie gave me everything missing in this book. I love a strong, grumpy, successful woman.

I knew from the moment we met Raylan in Bloody Heart I would love this man. Raylan is the perfect balance of protective without being possessive like so many love interests in books are.
