Come Sundown
by Nora Roberts
Copy received from Hachette Australia for an honest review
Nora Robert is one of my go-to authors. Whether it is writing as Nora Roberts or JD Robb, I always know that I am going to enjoy her words.
Come Sundown is a sweeping tale, told both in the present and 25 years ago. It is a beautiful tale of love, loss and finding oneself again.
There is a whodunnit running through the story, and in typical Nora Roberts style, I was left guessing right until the end, full of suspense and even though I had my suspicions about things, I was surprised when things unfolded.
Ms Roberts writes with such imagery that I could imagine myself on the back of a horse (god no, those things are the beasts of Satan!), watching the sunsets in big sky country.
I loved the story of the Bodine and Longfellow families and their lives on the ranch, and made me want to go visit there.
I really do look forward to a Nora Roberts book, and now I am wanting the next one.
