Please read this book. If you are a fan of Stephen Graham Jones or Silvia Moreno-Garcia or just horror/mysteries/thrillers in general, please read this. It was so good. You have a main character, Kari, who is simultaneously dealing with supernatural encounters, coming to terms with her past, dealing with grief, navigating relationships in her present day, and discovering parts of her cultural identity. It’s well-written and has a very solid sense of setting. That part was a bonus for me, because this book takes place in and around Denver and Kari visits a lot of places I’m familiar with.

Again, just please read this book. It’s really good, I promise
