This series is really shaping up. I'm starting to really get into the books. When I finished book one, I was just reading book two partly to see where it went, but mostly just because I already had the second book in the series. Now I am actually into the series and I want to know what is going to happen next. I am really, really liking it!

I am so happy that the series is grabbing my attention. I enjoyed the last book and I liked this one just as much! I love that Claire is uncovering some more secrets about the vampires, and along the way she gets to meet this really cool/scary/crazy vampire. I can't wait to see what is going to happen next with some of the "secrets" she found out about, and her continuing research. Claire belongs in a school/research lab and I think with the new developments she will be able to stay in one for a while. I loved that this happened! It should be interesting.

Ok, so now is when the mid-series review slump hits me. I have a hard time reviewing the in-between books in a longer series. Because I have already described the characters and talked about the ones I liked or disliked, so I don't have as many things to gush or rant about. So all I will say is...Bring on the next book!
