Little Kong by Freya Hartas
1.0

First off, some of the language. She learned him...got a good idea… there are a few others, that just do not read right. I get that it’s how a child might talk, but I see adults talking like this. I would not want to set this book in front of a kid and say, hey, this is okay. It also shows that if you don’t want to listen to your parents rules, to just leave. Esmeralda has no manners, so her parents send her to a deserted island to learn some. There she tries to teach a gorilla the manners, that she is lacking. At the end the parents are so impressed with the gorilla that they take him home, and Esmeralda stays behind on the island to be wild a free, and to do as she pleases. Overall, not a book I would recommend or put in my library collection.
