damn, i'm slightly disappointed by this one :/ none of the characters interested me, which is a shame because the synopsis promises the type of main character that i usually ADORE reading about (bitchy main characters lmao), but it didn't really deliver on that front?? rather than a political fantasy following an older, powerful "bitch queen", we get a story where our badass spoilt main character spends the entire book chasing after her shitty husband who abandoned her and their son?? yeah, i definitely think this one was marketed incorrectly

i will be continuing with the series, in the hope that the mc will actually develop a fucking spine
