Because of You
by Dawn French
this was fine?
but absolutely nothing special, filled with not very well done or unique characters and a baby kidnapping plot that has been done better.
i honestly don’t really understand why this book got out in a book prize list because it doesn’t offer anything unique or special?
it’s fine.
it’s well enough done that it’s easy to read through, the writing is fine and the plot well done.
the characters range from completely horrible to “why is this character even here other then to include drama?” to this is a normal person.
for me this is one of those stories that you read, it’s a good read but once done at the latest a few weeks later you forget all about it because nothing stood out.
in my option the entire kidnapping section wasn’t done well and neither was the section of confessing it all.
if you want a fast read that’s easy to get through and has an interesting story but something you don’t really have to concentrate on? this might be a good one.
if you want something special and a well done and written story, that is heartbreaking and makes you feel with the mothers and the child that goes through what’s happening in this book?
i wouldn’t recommend this book for that.
