Oh how i love Carissa her Crowns of Nyaxia series!
Okay i do need to say i like the first book a little more then the second, but its only like very small. But ugh Raihn, absolute book boyfriend for me i am telling you🫠 love that man and how he is around Oraya and respecting her. Why can't men be more like him in that way honestly😌 and not just men though some women should be like this too, i had my fair share in that ngl
Every character in this book written and woven in so good honestly! I love how we got to know more about Mische! I really want to know more of her background and now that Carissa has said we will in the next book which i am so excited for! Writing style was beyond once again, i personally really like Carissa her writing style, how she writes how Raihn is so patient for Oraya and at the same time tries to put up an image up as a king, trying to get respect. I think the little moments between Oraya and Raihn where her body wants him so bad but her mind feels betrayed is written greatly. I have read many books from writers trying to attempt to write this and not being able to capture it while Carissa is absolutely able to capture it beautifully, and even more when Oraya finally gives in!
I have cried, laughed, been wanting to stab multiple people while reading this book and the ending of it was absolutely lovely. I was prepared for some kind of heartbreaking end like we had with the first book but it wasn't this time and im not mad about it. If this book would be the last book i would have been satisfied, but it can still be written further!
