As an opinion piece on the importance of play and spiritual fulfillment, this book is a fantastic resource. As psychological research, I found many of the data extrapolations too speculative to give much credit (particularly egregious are an argument for a "sociogenic transmission" of gender dysphoria [165] and a suggested causal link between screen time and neurodivergence [128] which I find baffling).
