I loved the premise of this book with the tv show style and seeing all the same things as the characters. I was full in on this book trying to solve this case short of a murder board. It was so fun!
I did not solve it but I didn’t care because the twists were done so well each time. The identity change and all the lies involved, so good!
The first identity change was really good but the next were kinda annoying plot wise.
I was suspicious of some of them from the beginning like the sisters from their texts so the false ending made sense but there was too many plot holes left for it to work.
It was really interesting to see how almost each member of the team was involved with the case in some way, it really pulls you in to the story and it also distracts you from who the real perpetrator was.
I felt really bad for Guy at the end, since he blocked it out for so long. The ending though, was maddening! Especially since Bill was looking for the sister and she was seeking revenge this whole time. The Met was the same this time around, not looking closely enough at what happened.
I did a combined audio-ebook read and it was a great experience. The audiobook was superb!
