I decided to read this book because it was listed as a Goodreads group that I belong to monthly read. It sounded like an interesting book so I borrowed it from the library. It's not a book I would have likely borrowed otherwise.
I read it fairly quickly but there were portions of the book that dragged on and on. I skipped paragraphs at a time to get to the next "scene". Sometimes I found it hard to believe but other times it made me think about how I would feel if I was in this situation. The feeling of the book seemed to change toward the end. Considering that the first 3/4 of the book dragged, the last quarter went fast.
I am not a fan of hard swearing so the use of the 'F' word suddenly being used did not impress me. It seemed to not fit into the level of the book. It wasn't necessary.
I was very disappointed by the ending. I had flipped the page wondering if there was a page or two missing from the book. It left me hanging wondering how Christine was when she woke up.
Even though there were some negative points I gave the book a middle rating since I did read it all the way through and didn't take a long time to do so.
