I watched the anime when I was a kid, but I had never read the manga before. So happy to be diving into it now!
Usagi got on my nerves a little at the beginning, because she's a cry-baby. I guess it's supposed to be cute, but that always annoyed me. Also, she doesn't care about getting good grades in school, and I was one of those students who HAD to excel in school as my purpose in life. So even when I was a kid, I never really related very much to Usagi as a main character. I always liked Sailor Mercury, Ami, better, because she's a brain! Usagi annoys me less in the manga though, because I don't actually have to LISTEN to her whining and crying. haha!

I love the pretty sailor suits, and the mysterious plot, and magical powers awakening!
I wish there were more everyday things though; the girls having problems at school, and learning how to solve them through friendship or something. The focus is very heavily on defeating evil magic guys and very little on the everyday relationships and normal routines of the girls.

Ah, the mysterious Tuxedo Mask! I had such a crush on him when I was little. He's so dashing and handsome and enigmatic! No wonder Sailor Moon is drawn to him.
