東京喰種トーキョーグール 7 [Tokyo Guru 7]

The white hair warrior is BORN!
So Ken is being tortured after the last events of volume 6. It's pretty disturbing to watch, and seeing him being put through this slowly is disgusting. We also get the doves coming in just murdering the shit out of the people hurting Ken. Funny enough, they just in there to kill them, not rescue him. That's for ward 13 to do. So got a three way war basically with more Ken in the middle. Well poor, until he flips, and becomes more Ghoulish.
Good: Loved the turn. The torture, while hard to watch, is impactful. The change in Ken's character makes sense but doesn't COMPLETELY change him. I think the pacing is near perfect. Little info dumps here and there but mostly the action tells the story and the dialog between characters. This sets up a new future for a few characters too.
Bad: I think the art is solid but some of the fight scenes are really hard to follow.
Overall this is a great volume. This changes a lot of things. I also love the turn of events. This is probably my favorite volume of series so far.
