This is the second book I read by Charlie Laidlaw and I love the humor, the well thought characters and the interesting plot.
This is a poignant and engrossing story, heartwarming and thought provoking at the same time.
I had a lot of fun with the “Granny funeral”. It’s a really fun part and laughed a lot when I discovered what it was about.
Carol is a well written and fleshed out characters. Her reflections are thought provoking and she’s quite realistic.
The author is a good storyteller, plot and character development are excellent.
I strongly recommend this book, I thoroughly enjoyed it
