not super exciting, but still a beautiful book!!! a good story about a good person who does her best, and who cares where many other people didn't. i really, really love elin- the other characters are not very rounded, but she's the type of person i would love to know and befriend. her relationship with leelan and commitment to peace makes me very pleased. and the worldbuilding and creatures in general were pretty damn cool!!
