Chasm, the 2nd book in the Glacian Trilogy, continues to deliver an outstanding story in a unique world with life and death stakes. It is always difficult to review a book in the middle of a trilogy without inadvertently spoiling anything because it is usually filled with information that gives too much info from book 1 and lays the groundwork for the finale that is book 3. Suffice it to say that the issues presented as a cliffhanger in book 1 get resolved, and the freight train heading for a calamitous ending in the last of the trilogy has rail that has been well-lain. I can't believe we have to wait another year for the conclusion. Worth it!
