If you have elementary age kids, read this to them. If you have middle school or high school kids, encourage them to read this. And if you are an adult like me and still enjoy a well-written children's book, then you should read this. This is World War II historic fiction, with a sweet storyline about bullying, love of animals, and how the love of family comes from people to which we are not always related by blood.
