i can’t believe im saying this but the movie is better. this doesn’t fill me with nearly enough confusion or existential unease. like! i don’t like that i know for certain what the monolith did to those monkeys or why hal went the fuck off or wtf happened to bowman when he was becoming the space baby. BUT if you thought the movie was too wack i think you’ll like this more!! + it IS very well written & now i want to read the sequels
