“You told me to claim you, so I did.” Nate’s eyes opened wide. “You claimed me? You arrogant lizard, I'm not a piece of lost luggage. You can't claim me.”
This book is super entertaining and cute at times, but also very superficial and mega light on the romance. I love dragon shifters so would take a lot for me to actually dislike it. The concept is unique and there’s a bunch of side characters I want to know more about, which is rare for me. I just wish the romance felt more genuine, as it feels like a convenience thing that happens to turn into feelings and compatibility. I for sure still recommend it, especially the audio which Michael Ferraiuolo nailed, just don’t expect an epic romance lol.
A dragon with dark eyes and hair spoke up. Maybe Onyx. “You are the omega that Alistair had congress with?” Congress. Jesus. Nate swallowed a nervous and completely inappropriate giggle.

Lying, glistening wet, on his bed was an egg. A beautiful, amethyst-colored egg. The same color of the alpha’s “no, my eyes aren't purple, they're blue” eyes.
“After the laying you just went through, you should barely feel this.” “That’s what doctors say before they do something that’s going to hurt,” Nate said in an accusatory tone. “I’m not a doctor.” “That makes it worse.”
