In Every Life
by Rea Frey
emotional
mysterious
fast-paced
First off, this cover 😍
Second, I can always count on Rea Frey to pull at my heart....I needed tissues at the end!
Harper and Ben are newly married and Ben gets a terminal cancer diagnosis. He wishes for her to find someone else to love once he's gone. Of course, Harper thinks this idea is crazy. Then a journalist is sent to do a feature on Ben and it turns out to be Liam, a guy she had a week with and fell in love with but hasn't seen in 10 years.
This book has some magical realism as Harper gets to see and be in a life with Liam. It's a bit bittersweet to see what this life turned out to be. I flew through this and am so glad to have got to read this book
