Book 2 of the quasi Avatar series. Reading my kindle notes, I am enjoying:
1. The found family of kind friends from the Tower the heroine has in her corner.
2. The sexual tension is nice. I need to remind myself this is YA and don't get too expectant for some explicit NSFW scenes though.
3. The bitch slap was awesome.
4. Everyone after the windstorm in line clapping had my heart in a puddle.

Surprisingly enjoying the march into war, setting up camp and training scenes. This girl is taking a BEATING though. How are all YA heroines unbreakable? I trip and sprain an ankle, they can take down a natural disaster... cool.
