I love Eleanor Herman, and I enjoy her books so much. People seem so shocked that people throughout history have been unfaithful to their partners. Kings and Queens were unfaithful. People in all manner of government are unfaithful. Celebs that people look up to on the silver screen and the stage have been caught being unfaithful. The difference between today and several years ago is that the press overlooked things. We thrive on the misery of others and salacious gossip it seems like, so it is hard to imagine a time where there weren't cameras everywhere waiting to catch someone out. I learned quite a lot about some of the presidents that I had never heard before, aside from the Kennedy's. I really enjoyed this book, as well as her others, and hope she puts a new one out soon.
