This book was much better than the second and i’m glad I didn’t dnf the series entirely; i simply hate not knowing what happens next. The writing was still a bit juvenile and there were more similarities to TOG and ACOTAR. However, there was also a good amount that was different. I really need Faythe to get past her wallowing and feelings of inferiority because she’s being so annoying… like you know you’re powerful and you clearly have people that need you SHUT UP.

I am interested to see how Zaiana develops because it’s kinda clear she’s gonna go against her people in some way, she actually has a conscience soooo. Also can’t wait to see how different Faythe is!
