Okay, wow! This started off a bit slow for me and I had to switch to audio to get into it. But once I did? I was sucked in by this fun crew of misfits and the heist they embark on!

So much of this reminds me of the crime/action movies I enjoyed as a teen, featuring slick gadgets, witty lines, and an engaging chemistry between a diverse group of characters taking down an evil tech billionaire.

Yamamoto holds no punches either in when it comes to their criticism on capitalism, classism, and the slow, grinding erasure of marginalized communities. However I love that in this story there is simultaneously a sweet tone of hope, one that sings of community and the power that holds, no matter the timeline or planet.
