Sloppy writing, some funny scenes, and moronic characters. Or maybe that's just me, I've spent my whole life in a small village so I've had my share of these people. The midsummer setting made me want to read the whole thing, but it just wasn't as magical as I thought. Perhaps I was just expecting something different, and got pissed when I didn't get it.
