honestly expected the fact that kelly is ace to be brought up more… like… it was a bit disappointing since that’s one of the elements of it i was most looking forward to seeing portrayed. at the same time tho, i get why it wasn’t a bigger plot point and it’s nice? in a way? that not be a big deal?

dunno, my unsureness about how i feel about this ended knocking this review a whole star down anyways.

taking a few months between the last couple of books after the first two dis help to quell some of my annoyance about the excess of repetition. i still don’t like it but idk if it’s less annoying in books 3 and 4 (i’ve finished both books as i write this review) or if i just needed some distance before picking the series back up to appreciate the other things more instead of just being annoyed annoyed annoyed (see what i did there?)

lol, you should still give this a go. this picks up after a break in the story and it’s cool you see how some characters evolve.
