This year I've read a much more interesting another book by this author - The Breakdown. Here, there's too much staying in main character's (Alice's) head, and the constant repetition of the same facts. I didn't like Alice, I was annoyed by her behaviour (e.g. the way she treated Leo), and wasn't really that much interested in the mystery itself.
Would probably dnf it if it wasn't a buddy read with my mom:)
