This was a beautiful, creepy story. The writing was perfection. I absolutely loved the writing, it had beautiful images throughout the novella. This was an atmospheric story, set in the creepy gothic city of Eldenhaven. This is the perfect autumn read. It is scary, gory, disturbing, and yet such a beautiful, heartbreaking story. Highly recommend this book if you don’t mind gore and a creepy story. I think Jennifer Giesbretcht is a very talented writer, and I will buy her next book!
