Wow! This is my favorite Emily Henry (and they've all been 5 stars for me). I was addicted to this book. The way that Daphne and Miles are so real and genuine and amazing. They are emotional with scars from their past and though it shapes their thoughts, it doesn't make them broody or rude to each other or other people. My heart broke and healed, I raged and laughed and cried (happy tears mostly). I love every single character in this book, no matter how small their on page role (okay probably except 2). All my very favorite things about romance novels and characters in general rolled into one book.

Also, no spoilers but a lot of the thoughts / feelings / struggles that Daphne has about needing to be part of a group, having trouble connecting people, and looking for a feeling of belonging and home - I felt SO SEEN by that! And hope that those outgoing people reading can maybe understand why some of us seem closed-off --- we're just awkward and bad at small talk haha!

Oooh and the descriptions of the library events gave me stars in my eyes and I would give anything to be a kid and get to go.

LISTEN TO THE AUDIOBOOK! Julia Whelan is one of my top favorite narrators and she brings this book to the next level and definitely helped bring the chills and tears and laughs.
