Gabe Maxwell, oh this man is seriously swoon worthy. A hotshot lawyer, an alpha, and a sweet man all wrapped up in one. What is not to love? Abbie on the other hand, she kind of drove me crazy. I just kept yelling at my kindle telling her to just stop running from the man.

This story was addicting, I couldn’t stop reading, I had to know what was going to happen next. The secrets they are both hiding, I wanted to know. The mystery behind everything, the suspense of what was going to happen next.

Their relationship got off to an interesting start and the more it went on the more I loved the two of them together, despite everything they were hiding from each other. The dogs, too. They added so many sweet, cute and light moments that the story needed.

This is the first book of the duet and it does end of one massive cliffhanger that I didn’t see coming and I can’t wait to see how that affects everything between Gabe and Abbie.
