Meghan Quinn never misses and I absolutely LOVE this series! This is a marriage of convenience, small town romance with a reverse grumpy sunshine trope. This book is LONG but worth it and I think it was just the right amount of humor, spice, a great plot and a supremely good follow up to the first book in this series. I loved returning to Almond Bay and seeing my favorite family once again! I was excited to read about Aubree, because she was so cold and closed off and standoffish and I was wondering how she would open up and find love. Enter Wyatt, who is a thriller novel writer and he has MAJOR golden retriever energy and was just so wonderful! This is probably the BEST marriage of convenience book I have ever read and was everything I could have ever wanted. At times, this book was very emotional too and coupled with the romance, I thought Meghan Quinn wrote it so well. I really am looking forward to more books in this series and cannot WAIT for Ryland's book!
