This book was an excellent blend of a friends to lovers romance and a romantic suspense/crime thriller book. I liked how, in addition to the main mystery and the romance, there was the underlying mystery of the girls' childhood friend. It seems as if that will be an underlying storyline throughout the series. I like when authors do this, it creates that need to keep reading, and makes the characters last a little longer. As far as the main mystery was concerned, I didn't clue into what was going on for probably far too long. My mind just didn't work the way the author or the villain's did. I love when a mystery isn't too predictable. I've already moved on to book two, like I said that underlying mystery has me wanting more, wanting answers!
