Well that was DEVASTATING. I really related to this on the level of having a complicated relationship with my mom, going to college on the East Coast in order to get away. I just really related to a lot of what she wrote about prior to her mom getting sick. And then hearing about her mom getting sick, oof. And the food element? Also relatable. This was a book I could not put down.
