I did not expect to fall in love with this book the way I did!!

The writing was so readable, the characters loveable and complicated, and the romance was PERFECT.

Ian was the absolute sweetest and best male romance lead I have maybe ever read. The dual timeline created intrigue, as I was desperate to know what caused things to "crash and burn" in the past.

Sometimes Amelie made me frustrated staying in her relationship and not realizing she deserved better. But it all MADE SENSE and was unfortunately very realistic for someone who grew up the way she did.

I sometimes just want to go back and read this book again because the journey was sooo lovely. If you want a cozy romance with good food, adorable banter, and heart melting romance... Pick this!!!
