Wow this book!! Honestly, I have yet to be let down by this author. Every time i am instantly drawn in by the wild plots, fun characters, and selfishly, the tiny bits of romance sprinkled in. I love it! This book was fast paced and so interesting. I got some Pip vibes from AGGGTM but of a lesser degree. Brynn was a strong female lead and i really liked her. She had a reason for everything she did and i felt awful at the end when she was really struggling. Tripp was such a wonderful POV to have. I really enjoyed seeing inside his brain and watching him work through so many intense feelings and experiences. One thing i love about KMM's characters is that they always have a level of complexity about them that really adds to the story. The reason i gave this 4 stars was only because the ending felt slightly rushed. I felt like things should've wrapped better but it didn't change the way i felt about the entire story!

For the people like me who crave romance regardless of the genre, i think you will enjoy the small parts of romance in this book. even though this is a murder book, i still swooned a little over certain parts.
