I give this book 4.0 stars out of 5.0 because there were a few errors, but mostly because they brother-sister thing squicks me out even if they aren’t actually brother-sister. I did very much enjoy the book, but some things irked me.

We start out with Clark Treasure, son of a prostitute or Tarnished Silver, stealing from one of his mother’s clients. No big deal, until he steals and drinks absinthe that isn’t really absinthe. The potion he drinks gives him some interesting necromancing abilities such as seeing ghosts and being able to talk with them, bringing back from the dead people who have just passed, and (if he has just brought someone back) the ability to kill someone. It’s a neat take on necromancy and I quite like it.I give this book 4.0 stars out of 5.0 because there were a few errors, but mostly because they brother-sister thing squicks me out even if they aren’t actually brother-sister.
