Faith's Eternal Sunshine by Aashish Gupta
3.0

This is a story of two friends named Manu and Manjiri. Manu set out a plan to make Manjiri experience the God. So he locks her in a room and do whatever that takes to make her believe or simply just to have faith in superior energy. I personally didn't like the approach he took to make her understand. Nothing should be forced. I understand that he has his points and I get his message but it's not the right method of approaching someone who has no faith in anything. It was little confusing at some places. But I really liked how he differentiated having faith from praying everyday. Also, I loved how he actually wants everyone to find their own faith for themselves. The length of the book could have easily been shorter but he has written in such a way that everyone would understand it easily. I liked it overall. (Trigger warning for sexual and psychological abuse) And this may even come under psychological thriller apart from spirituality.
