Fell in Love with an Earl is book three in the Games Earls Play series by Anna Bradley and if you haven't picked this series up, I recommend you do. I do think this one could be easily read as a standalone if you haven't had the opportunity to read books one and two yet. There is some connection to the other characters in those books but nothing that would mean you've missed something critical if you are starting here. With that said, I would recommend the full series.

This book introduces us to Helena Templeton and Adrian Chatham. Helena has taken on the role of governess to Adrian's twin boys and just as she is starting to make some progress, Adrian shows up unexpectedly from London and creates some challenges. While things don't necessarily start out well for Helena (in Adrian's eyes) he quickly realizes that Helena is the glue holding a lot of things together and their relationship starts to shift.

I enjoyed this story and definitely look forward to more from Bradley. I recommend picking this one up if you are looking for a new historical romance.
