Suzuki Just Wants a Quiet Life, Vol. 3
by Hirohisa Sato
It ends a little clean, but man oh man, this was one of the nicest surprises I've read in awhile.
For a Manga I never heard of it really was well done, super well drawn, and solid dialogue. This volume we get a deep look into Suzuki's life and how she even got her name, which was a bit of a surprise for me. We see what it means to be ruthless. A killer. One with no reason to connect or help people. And how she wants to change herself.
With a few twist here and there this ends with a cleaner end than expected. After the horrific events of the last two volumes I expected the worst, and maybe that's why I feel it's clean, but I really loved the ending. The gunfare, and the combat in general, is fantastic, slick, and easy to follow. I grew to love the relationship between the boy and his, what would be big sister or mother.
It's too bad this author hasn't released anything else. I loved this. A 4.5 out of 5.
