This book probably deserves a 3.5, especially because as far as the plot goes, it's not really a step up from Freida McFadden's body of work (which I read last month). Where I think Stacy Willingham really shines is in her prose, and that elevated my enjoyment of this book immensely. The twists were good, even if a bit expected, and I was surprised by the nuance she showed her characters.
