From the title (the words are in the song Tale As Old As Time) to the cover (hello clock, candlestick, teapot, and cup) to the MCs (Bellamy=Belle and Oliver "Beast" to the football world= Beast) you can see and recognize the Beauty and The Beast retelling in almost every page.
I liked that this was in the modern world with an AI being our "magical servant". I liked how the "curse" was used in relation to Oliver from his grandfather. I loved that we have a woman in charge of the home renovations and Bellamy is such a great lead. It was a fun and spicy romp in this book. I loved all the characters (not Grandfather #sorrynotsorry) and laughed and swooned all the way through.
